Meadow Fest - Payment plan terms
Meadow Fest Payment Plan Terms and Conditions
These Payment Plan Terms and Conditions (“Payment Plan T&Cs”) apply to all customers purchasing tickets for Meadow Fest (“the Festival”) via a payment plan option. The Festival is organised by Stage Crash Events Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and is scheduled for May 28-30 2027, at The Big Park, Penn Estate Amersham, HP7 0PL. By opting into the payment plan and purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these Payment Plan T&Cs, in addition to the Festival’s general Terms and our Purchase Policy (or the policy of any other authorised ticket agent we use), and any applicable laws.
We reserve the right to update these Payment Plan T&Cs at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Please read these Payment Plan T&Cs carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree, do not opt into the payment plan.
1. Eligibility and Availability
a) The payment plan allows eligible customers to pay for tickets in instalments rather than in a single payment, subject to ticket availability and our discretion.
b) To be eligible, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide valid credit or debit card details for automatic payments.
- Purchase tickets during the eligibility period, which runs from September 5, 2025, to December 5, 2025 (the “Eligibility Period”). This period may be extended or shortened at our sole discretion.
- Successfully pass any necessary fraud, credit, or security checks.
c) The payment plan is available for selected ticket types, including Weekend Tickets, Day Tickets, and Family Packages, as specified on our website. Add-ons (e.g., camping passes, if available) may be included but must be paid in full with the first instalment unless otherwise stated.
d) The payment plan is not available for resale tickets, group bookings exceeding a certain limit (as specified at purchase), or after the Eligibility Period.
e) Participation in the payment plan does not guarantee ticket availability. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Payment Schedule and Amounts
a) Tickets purchased via the payment plan will be paid over three (3) instalments (each an “Instalment”). The number of instalments and due dates may vary based on when you purchase during the Eligibility Period and will be clearly displayed at the point of purchase.
b) A typical payment schedule for a purchase made in August 2026 is as follows (exact amounts will depend on ticket type, quantity, and any applicable fees; all prices include VAT where applicable):
- First Instalment: Charged immediately upon purchase. This includes approximately 30% of the ticket face value, plus the full per-ticket service charge (e.g., £10-£20 per ticket, depending on type), per-transaction handling fee (e.g., £3.50), and any delivery fees (e.g., £2.75 for e-tickets or postage). The First Instalment is non-refundable, subject to Section 5 below.
- Second Instalment: Due on or around October 1, 2025 (approximately 35% of remaining balance).
- Third Instalment: Due on or around November 1, 2025 (approximately 35% of remaining balance).
c) The total price (including all fees) will be divided as evenly as possible across the instalments, with any rounding adjustments applied to the final payment. No interest is charged on the payment plan.
d) All instalments will be automatically charged to the credit or debit card provided at purchase on or around the due dates, without further notice. You must ensure your card details are valid, up-to-date, and have sufficient funds. We recommend checking your card expiry date to avoid failed payments.
e) If your card is declined or a payment fails for any reason, we (or our ticket agent) will attempt to contact you via email or phone to provide alternative payment details. Any alternative card must be in your name (the original purchaser). If a valid alternative is not provided within seven (7) days of the due date, your booking may be cancelled, and you will forfeit all instalments paid to date (see Section 4).
f) Payments are processed in GBP (£). If you are purchasing from outside the UK, you may incur currency conversion fees from your bank, for which we are not responsible.
3. Fees and Charges
a) The payment plan may include a non-refundable service charge per ticket and a handling fee per transaction, which are incorporated into the First Instalment.
b) No additional fees are charged for using the payment plan itself, beyond standard ticket fees.
c) If a payment fails and we incur bank charges as a result, we reserve the right to pass these on to you (e.g., a £10 failed payment fee).
4. Default and Cancellation of Booking
a) If any instalment is not paid in full by the due date (including due to card decline, insufficient funds, or expiry), and no alternative payment method is provided within seven (7) days:
- Your ticket(s) will be voided and cancelled.
- You will forfeit all instalments paid to date, including fees, with no refund or credit.
- The tickets may be released for resale.
b) Subject to availability, we may (at our discretion) allow you to restart the payment plan or pay the remaining balance in full to reinstate your tickets. Contact our customer service at contact@meadow-fest.com immediately if this occurs. No guarantees are made regarding availability or reinstatement.
c) You may not cancel your participation in the payment plan after the First Instalment is paid, except as provided in Section 5.
5. Refunds and Event Changes
a) All instalments are non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:
- If the Festival is cancelled in full, you will receive a refund of all instalments paid (including fees), minus any non-refundable elements as per our general Terms and Conditions.
- If the Festival is substantially altered (e.g., change of dates or venue), refunds may be available at our discretion, in line with our general Terms and Conditions and applicable laws (e.g., Consumer Rights Act 2015).
- Refunds for personal circumstances (e.g., illness, inability to attend) are not available. We recommend purchasing ticket refund protection insurance at the point of sale.
b) Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 working days of approval. You must request refunds within any specified timeframe (e.g., three months from announcement).
c) If the Festival proceeds as planned, no refunds will be issued for completed or partial payments, even if you do not attend.
6. Ticket Issuance and Validity
a) Tickets will only be issued (e.g., as e-tickets or wristbands) once all instalments have been paid in full and cleared.
b) Until full payment is received, you have no right to attend the Festival or receive tickets. Partial payments do not entitle you to partial access.
c) Tickets purchased via the payment plan are subject to the same rules as standard tickets, including no resale (except via official resale platforms), age restrictions, and entry requirements.
7. Data and Security
a) By providing card details, you authorise us (and our ticket agents) to store and use them for automatic payments in accordance with these Payment Plan T&Cs.
b) We process personal data in line with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy (available on our website). Card details are handled securely by our payment processors.
8. Liability
a) We are not liable for any losses arising from your failure to make payments, including but not limited to bank fees, missed attendance, or forfeited amounts.
b) Our total liability is limited to the total instalments paid by you, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or as required by law.
9. General
a) These Payment Plan T&Cs are governed by English law. Disputes shall be resolved in the English courts.
b) If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
